Project objectives

Overall objective(s)
Creating a favourable environment for attracting investment and development of existing small and medium enterprises in manufacturing and services in tourism based on existing resources

Specific objective(s)
To contribute to effective service delivery in the field of LED by strengthening the capacity of employees and management.
Strengthening the role of local self-government in strategic and operational development of tourism through training, transfer and application of best practices in accordance with EU procedures.

Target group(s)

Employees and management of local self-government; President and Members of the Municipal Council, Head of Adminsitration and heads of departments and Deputy Mayor for Tourism and Sport, employees who deal with local economic development, representatives of tourist organization Arandjelovac, representatives of public companies of interest to the LED.

End user(s)

Existing enterprises (507 legal entities) and entrepreneurs (1573), potential entrepreneurs and founders of legal entities, residents of the Municipality of Aranđelovac as indirect beneficiaries of better economic conditions.

1. Developed and implemented a new model of organization of the LED Department
2. Higher level of knowledge and skills in the Department for LED
3. Enhanced importance of LED at municipal level
4. Promoted support program and enhanced communication with business
5. Integrated tourism management development at the local level
6. Enhanced role of tourism as an engine of sustainable economic development
